About the tour:
The tour is conducted at a leisurely pace with frequent stops for stories, views and photography. The group is small, so you get a personal and informal experience. The guide adapts the pace to the group's wishes and physical level.
Cancellation fees:
All cancellations must be sent in writing via email to Info@ArcticFootsteps.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written cancellation notice.
The following cancellation fees apply:
- 22 days or more before the activity date: 5% of the amount paid
- 21-8 days before the activity date: 50% of the amount paid
- 7 days or less before the activity date: 100% of the amount paid
Punctuality and no-shows:
You must arrive at the designated meeting point at the agreed time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, this will be considered a no-show. No refunds will be given for late arrivals or no-shows, and Arctic Footsteps is not obligated to wait or change the time.
Refunds:
If unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions necessitate changes to the program, no refunds will be given. Refunds are also not given in the event of illness or flight cancellation. We recommend that you take out travel insurance. The safety of our guests is always our highest priority.
Changes to the itinerary / Unforeseen circumstances:
The organizer reserves the right to change departure times or cancel tours up to the scheduled start time of the tour if there are not enough participants compared to the minimum number specified in the brochure or on the website. Similarly, the operator reserves the right to cancel tours up to the scheduled start time due to weather and snow conditions, force majeure or other circumstances beyond the company's control, which prevent the activity from being carried out safely.In cases where it is necessary to make changes to the route/content of the activity due to unforeseen circumstances/weather conditions, this will not affect the price of the activity.
Guests and customers are advised that all activities are carried out at their own risk. Arctic Footsteps or its partners assume no responsibility for accidents caused by customers, which can be traced back to their own actions, or which are due to factors beyond human control (force majeure).
Age limit: 14 years, accompanied by an adult.
Minimum number of participants: 2 people.
For safety reasons, all participants must be able to understand and communicate in Norwegian or English. If this is not possible, the participant must be accompanied by a person who is fluent in one of these languages.
