Information concerning regulations:
We adhere to the regulations regarding distance from polar bear ensuring that we can observe them in a safe and responsible manner. We therefore recommend bringing binoculars and/or a camera with telephoto lens.
Cancellation fees:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Info@ArcticFootsteps.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written cancellation notice.
Individual Day Tours, Multi‑Day Tours (2–5 days), Private Tours:
60+ days before: full refund minus NOK 500 administrative fee
45–59 days before: 25% cancellation fee
30–44 days before: 50% cancellation fee
15–29 days before: 75% cancellation fee
8–14 days before: 90% cancellation fee
14 days or less before: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
No‑show: no refund; full amount remains due
Punctuality and No‑Show
You must arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, this will be considered a no‑show. No refund will be issued for late arrival or no‑show, and Arctic Footsteps is under no obligation to wait or reschedule.
Refund:
If unforeseen circumstances/weather conditions necessitate changes in routes in relation to the program, refunds of any amount will not be given.
There will not be given any refund due to sickness or cancellation of flights. We recommend you to have a travel insurance. The safety of our guests is
always our first priority. Arctic Footsteps also reserves the right to cancel the activity if the required minimum number of participants is not reached or when the conditions are considered unsafe.
Guests/clients are advised that all activities are undertaken entirely at their own risk. All adventure tours carry inherent risks and Arctic Footsteps or its partners do not assume any responsibility for accidents that are caused by its customers or can be traced to their own actions or are caused by
factors outside of human control (Force majeure).
Age limit: 14 years passenger accompanied by an adult.
Minimum number of participants: 2 persons
For safety reasons, all passengers must be able to understand and communicate in either Norwegian or English. If this is not possible, the passenger must be accompanied by someone who is fluent in one of these languages.
