Everything you need for an unforgettable Arctic experience is included:
ATV, fuel, search and rescue insurance, warm driving suit, helmet, boots, mittens, balaclava, hot drinks and biscuits, and transport to and from your accommodation.
To stay comfortable throughout the tour, we recommend wearing warm wool base layers and wool socks. Bringing a small backpack with extra clothing is also a good idea. If you normally wear glasses, we recommend using contact lenses during the tour.
Safety and Important Information
Your safety is our top priority. The route may be adjusted depending on weather and ground conditions without affecting the tour price. All participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
Children must be at least 8 years old to participate in the tour.
ATV driving takes place on approved roads in Adventdalen in accordance with the Svalbard Environmental Protection Act, and driving on bare or thawed ground is not permitted.
All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license for passenger cars (Class B), and the license must be brought on the tour.
Pregnant women are unfortunately not allowed to participate for safety reasons.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
Search and rescue insurance is included, but all guests must have their own travel insurance.
In case of material damage to the vehicle caused by negligence, the insurance deductible will be charged to the driver.
Terms for Day Tours and Activities
Most activities require a minimum number of participants. Minimum 1 driver.
We reserve the right to make changes to prices, routes, minimum participant requirements, and departure times.
Tours are weather dependent and may be adjusted or cancelled if necessary.
Activities can be arranged outside scheduled departure times upon request if the minimum number of participants is met.
Cancellation Policy – Day Tours and Activities
- Cancellation up to 22 days before the activity: 100% refund
- Cancellation 21–8 days before the activity: 50% refund
- Cancellation 7–0 days before the activity: considered a no-show and non-refundable
If you have travel insurance, you can normally apply for reimbursement directly from your insurance provider in case of illness or unforeseen circumstances, usually with a medical certificate.
