Please notice(!): A car or motorcycle- driving license is required for driving a snowmobile. The participant is obliged to check whether the driver's license is valid in Svalbard and Jan Mayen. To be able to drive a motorized vehicle on Svalbard, you must have a driver's license that is valid in your home country and of the same model as the “Vienna Convention of 1968 on road traffic” in addition a driver's license that gives the right to drive a passenger car/class B is also accepted, if the driver's license is issued in a country that is a party to the Geneva Convention of 1949 on road traffic in addition a driver's license that gives the right to drive a passenger car/class B is also accepted, if the driver's license is issued in a country that is a party to the Geneva Convention of 1949 on road traffic. When ordering a driver with a passenger be advised that driving with a passenger is harder than driving alone.

Cancellation fees:

If orders booked online with a credit card are cancelled a 5% fee of the total paid price is charged from the client. This applies only if the client cancels and not if the organizer is cancelling an activity.

1-9 persons:
Cancellations made 22 days or more prior to activities gives a 100% refund.
Cancellations made 21-8 days prior to activities gives a 50% refund.
Cancellations made 7-0 days prior to activities gives no refund.

10+ persons:
Cancellations made 120 days or more prior to activities are refunded 100%.
Cancellations made 120-91 days prior to activities are refunded 50%.
Cancellations made 90 days prior to activities are not refunded.

Refund:
If unforeseen circumstances/weather conditions necessitate changes in routes in relation to the program, refunds of any amount will not be given. There will not be given any refund due to sickness, cancellation of flights or if you forget to bring your driver’s license (on trip that drivers license is required). We recommend you to have a travel insurance. The safety of our guests is always our first priority. Svalbard Adventures also reserves the right to cancel the activity if the required minimum number of participants is not reached or when the conditions are considered unsafe.

Guests/clients are advised that all activities are undertaken entirely at their own risk. All adventure tours carry inherent risks and Svalbard Adventures or its partners do not assume any responsibility for accidents that are caused by its customers or can be traced to their own actions or are caused by factors outside of human control (Force majeure).
