Important information

Experience Svalbard by dog sledding!
We will pick up our guests at their accommodation, and they will be given warm suits and shoes before the trip starts. After arriving at Svalbard Villmarkssenter you will meet the polar dogs, and be instructed on how to handle the dog team.

Depending on the season, weather and tracks conditions we will chooce sleds or special carts on wheels. We set off in mini-groups, one pair per sled or two-three persons on cart. The main guide will be in front with the lead-dog team. We will make a stops, on which you will be able to make photos and switch drivers and passengers on sleds/carts. The dogs will be your engine the next couple of hours and they will bring you on an adventure that you may never have experienced before. Variable weather, northern lights, crystal-clear skies Fully bookedof stars, moonlight or sunshine both day and night - these are variations only the Arctic can provide!

This is an activity that almost everyone can join.
The tour includes:

• Pick-up transport from/to place of accommodation in Longyearbyen
• Dogsledding ride 1-2 hours
• Equipment: winter overall, hat, gloves, and shoes
* Please note: we do not have kids sizes of eqipment!
In addition:
• We recommend you bring a small backpack with your personal things.
Cancellation policy:

If cancelled 22 days or more prior to departure 100 % refund
If cancelled 22-7 days prior to departure 50 % refund
Cancellation less than 7 days prior to departure is a "no show" and does not qualify for any refund. You may apply to your insurance company for a refund if you provide a withical certificate.
If Svalbard Villmarkssenter decides to cancel a trip due to weather conditions or any other reasons, you will receive a Fully bookedrefund!
