RECOMMENDED CLOTHING:
Pack a daypack (about 20-35 litres) with extra snacks, packed lunch, drinking bottle with water (min. 5 dl) and extra layers of clothes. Wear steady and water resistance hiking shoes. Put on a comfortable outdoor pant with wool underwear underneath. On the upper body we recommend wool underwear and windproof jacket. Bring extra layer of wool and a thin down jacket or similar. You will get warm and sweaty on the hike and it is often chilly on top. Remember a warm hat, buff and warm windproof mittens or warm gloves.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This trip requires good physical conditions. This hike goes into unrouged terrain without roads and tracks. You should be able to move in varied terrain such as grass slopes, boulders, and moraine safely and independently. Depending on route we might even cross the rivers coming from the glacier. Be prepared for a steep hike in the beginning of the trip, and when we reach the plateau the views is all worth the sweat to reach the top.

LANGUAGE
Safety is our top priority during our trips. It is necessary for you to be able to communicate in English or a Scandinavian language if you want to join our excursions. The tour language (English or a Scandinavian language) will be chosen based on the group's language skills.

INFO:
The organizer has liability insurance through Gjensidige insurance. The organizer has provided a guarantee to the Governor of Svalbard for costs associated with rescue operations. The customer is responsible for taking out travel insurance before participating in the journey.
On booking later than 1 month before arrival, credit card information must be given or payment made at the first opportunity. Cancellation of day trips / activities and hotel room:
Cancellations up to 22 days before the date are reimbursed in full.
Cancellations 22-7 days before the date are reimbursed by 50%.
Cancellations 7 days before date are not reimbursed at all.
