There’s something very special about being out on the water in Svalbard when the sun never sets.
Join us for an evening wildlife and glacier tour across the Isfjord, traveling by comfortable, enclosed RIB towards one of Svalbard’s impressive glacier fronts.
With space for just 12 guests, it’s a small-group experience where there’s plenty of room to take in the landscape, look for wildlife and simply enjoy being out in the Arctic.
As we make our way across the fjord, keep watch for the wildlife that lives in and around these waters. Depending on the conditions that day, we may encounter seals, walruses, whales, belugas and Arctic birdlife. And, with a little luck, we could even spot a polar bear in the distance.
The route takes us through some of Svalbard’s most beautiful scenery, with steep mountains, open water and sometimes floating sea ice around us.
Our destination is a spectacular glacier, where we’ll slow down and spend some time taking in the scale and silence of the Arctic.
While we’re there, we’ll serve a warm, hearty expedition-style meal, the perfect way to warm up while enjoying the view!
In summer, Svalbard experiences the Midnight Sun, so even in the evening the landscape remains beautifully lit.
Our guides know the waters around Isfjord well and are constantly watching the conditions and looking for signs of wildlife. The exact route will depend on the weather, sea conditions and what we find along the way, making every trip a little different.
Come for the glaciers, stay for the wildlife, the Arctic light and the feeling of being somewhere truly remote. This evening expedition is the perfect way to experience the wild beauty of Svalbard.
