In Trygghamna we meet the eye-catching landmark Alkehornet, a large bird mountain surrounded by a lush and beautiful landscape. Historically, Trygghamna is known as a sheltered bay. Here sailors could rest after challenging voyages in Arctic waters. We continue our trip to Ymerbukta, where the scenic Esmarkbreen plunges into the sea. As we bob between small icebergs in the green glacial water, you can hear the ice crackling. - We can also recommend joining your Isfjord Radio guide on one of his favorite tracks along the old radio poles that lead away from the historic radio station. With various route options, we take you on a day in Arctic nature. The trip will be around 10-16 km.
