Join a guided mountain hike to Platåfjellet (424 m), one of Longyearbyens most iconic viewpoints. Starting directly from town, we hike through historic landmarks and up to the summit for stunning panoramic views over Longyearbyen, Adventfjorden, and the surrounding Arctic landscape. The tour lasts 34 hours and is of moderate difficulty, with some steep and uneven sections. Included: experienced guide, safety equipment, hot drinks, snacks, walking poles (if needed), and search & rescue insurance. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes, warm windproof clothing, hat, gloves, and bring water and a small backpack.
