From the sea, Svalbard reveals a different perspective. Steep mountains rise directly from the water, and bird cliffs, glaciers, and coastal formations create a constantly changing landscape. As we approach Grumant, the remains of the former mining settlement provide a striking insight into Svalbard’s past in the region. Wildlife encounters are possible throughout the tour, including seabirds, seals, and occasionally whales and the arctic fox. The route is adapted depending on weather and sea conditions to ensure safety and the best possible experience.
