Tempel Fjord

This is a classical full day trip with a lot of great experiences. The route goes to the northeast, through the valleys of Adventdalen and the wide Sassendalen, where we stop by the old trappers’ cabin at Fredheim, at Tempelfjorden. Surrounded by fabulous mountains we drive on the fjord ice, and here we have good opportunities of seeing seals and polar bear tracks. Lunch will be served next to the magnificent, blue ice front of the Tunaglacier. On our way back home we will visit Nøisdalen, a canyon with thousands of nesting birds. Or we drive on the sea ice to Dee Geerdalen and then on to Longyearbyen.
