This hike goes over Longyearglacier or Larsglacier depending on wheather and group conditions. The hike to the entrance of the ice-cave is about 2 hours. On clear days we enjoy the views in several directions, and of course we hope for strong activity with Northern Lights. Partly demanding hike in steep terrain. But, we adjust the tempo so most normally fit people will feel comfortable on this route. In the cave we enjoy the magic of 1000-year old ice, formed by melting water.
