Barentsburg is a russian settlement, about 60 km from Longyearbyen, and this is an all day activity. We head into Adventdalen and turn into Todalen going to Coles Valley. Here we will decide today´s route based on the weather and snow conditions: Either along the coast by Isfjord, or going inland through Skiferdalen and Grøndalen. In Barentsburg we will have our lunch in a restaurant, with traditional russian food, before city sightseeing by a local guide. If weather permits, we will choose another route on our return. Minimum 2/maximum 6 per group. We recommend warm clothing to wear under your snowsuite, thin glows to wear inside your mittens. Wear warm wool underwear closest to you skin, and several layers, with a windtight outer shell. Your snowmobile does not have storage room, so we recommend you bring a smaller backpack for your camera, extra clothing etc. All drivers must bring a valid driver´s license for car, motorbike or snowmobile. Minimum age 8 years when followed by an adult.
