We invite you to a PopUp food and cultural experience in Gruve 3 from 26.01 to 18.03 2023. PopUp Norway has invited some of the country's best chefs to Svalbard. These chefs have been given the task of creating a 7-10 course menu, using their specialties and our ingredients. Over 8 weeks, we will be visited by 8 different chef teams. Only 40 exclusive places are available each Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. Our sommelier, Helle, collaborates with each chef team, to create a unique wine pairing for every course of the tasting menu. Beverages can be ordered in the restaurant. This is a total experience: the evening begins with a trip into the mining facility, where an aperitif will be served and then we move to what is called the "day facility,” outside the mine itself, for our meal. The restaurant has been custom built for the occasion and is warm and atmospheric in the polar night.
