We head east towards Sassenfjord and continue on the sea ice or over small glaciers and along valleys. Lunch at the front of Nordenskiöldglacier, in the bay of Petuniabukta. Pyramiden is a former Russian miner’s settlement, closed since 1998. We will look around the centre of the city. Due to the snow and weather conditions we might take a different route back to Longyearbyen.
